I know, I know, first; what is a neo-Hippie? With my readings through time, I have not come upon a complete and legitimate
definition for a neo-Hippie, however, through the collective thoughts that I have stumbled upon, one would say a neo Hippie
Neo-Hippies call themselves hippies or modern hippies. They are kind hearted like the hippies of years past. They are called neo-hippies because their views are different in a few ways from the first hippies. They are against stereotypes and are their own people. They are usually not the ones to adhere to norms or a group think philosophy
hippies were. they have some common goals like peace and freedom. they are called neo for adding new beliefs like mindfulness and vegetarianism. Not all believe in all aspects of these ideologies but some do. They definitely believe in dressing their own way away from the norm. They are okay with gays, bi’s, lesbians, transsexual, and non-sexauls but that doesn’t make them one. Neo-hippie’s and hippies are so deep and vary between people you can’t really define them completely. Oh and FYI if you thought it, NOT ALL do drugs and don’t take showers.
